NiRA Policies On .gov.ng Domains!
Nira has set a policy that segments and provides all local governments with domains different from the state domain. Local government should be registered under a state initials example abcd local government of Plateau state should be registered as abcd.pl.gov.ng.
That is the case with commissions and institutions under the state should be registered like such name.pl.gov.ng
An alternative to this you can have a subdomain on the state website for such, to run as a sub domain. The local government or institution should liaise with the state to create a subdomain for the local government or commission in the state.
